About Arturo Fuente
Arturo Fuente started making cigars in West Tampa in 1912. After a factory fire in 1924 and the loss of the family’s Nicaragua factory during the revolution of the late 1970s, the Fuentes opened their factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, in 1980. Opus X was released in 1995 and became the brand’s flagship.
