The Arturo Fuente Opus X 20 Years Believe is part of the same 20th Anniversary collection as Father & Son — built in 2016 to mark two decades since the original Fuente Fuente OpusX changed the cigar world.

Construction & Origin

This anniversary commemorates the 1995 launch of the original Fuente Fuente OpusX — the first ultra-premium smoke made entirely from Dominican-grown tobacco, including a Dominican-grown wrapper leaf no one had reliably produced before Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr.’s Chateau de la Fuente farm made it possible. Believe measures 5¾” x 52, one of four sizes in the 20th Anniversary line (alongside Father & Son, God’s Whisper, and Power of a Dream), packaged 20 cigars to the box and rolled at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia in the Dominican Republic.

Flavor Profile

Medium-bodied and noticeably smoother than the standard Opus X blend — less ligero in the mix, paired with a lighter-priming wrapper leaf, tones the strength down without losing complexity. Expect cedar and cream up front, settling into soft spice, then rounding out with leather and toasted nuts.

Why It’s Sought After

Released only for the 20th Anniversary in a limited run, each cigar carries a one-time blue, orange, gold, and cream band — a variation on the classic Opus X band made specifically for this release and used nowhere else in the line.
