About the OpusX 20 Years Celebration
OpusX debuted in New York City on November 18, 1995, and Fuente calls it the first Dominican puro. For the 20th anniversary series, Carlos Fuente Jr. told Cigar Aficionado that the blue on the bands and boxes honors a river beside the Chateau de la Fuente farm and the blue labels on early Fuente cigars.
