Description
The Arturo Fuente Double Chateau Sun Grown is a 6 3/4 x 50 Churchill: Dominican binder and filler finished in an Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper. Of the three Chateau Fuente sizes made in every wrapper, it falls between the 4 1/2-inch Chateau Fuente and the 7 5/8-inch Royal Salute.
What It Tastes Like
Cigar Aficionado has scored this cigar 89 points twice. The February 2022 tasting, at medium-full, found a dark Churchill that burned evenly, with earthy coffee flavors, touches of vanilla, almond shell and dry pine, and a light coffee-with-cream finish. The April 2011 review listed it as medium, yet described strong, spicy smoke offset by a dried-apple sweetness, along with an uneven burn.
