The Arturo Fuente Casa Cuba Doble Dos is a long, narrow 42-ring lonsdale finished in an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper over Cuban-seed binder and filler grown in the Dominican Republic. Fuente’s chart lists it at 6 3/4 inches, the thinnest gauge in the Casa Cuba family.
What It Tastes Like
Cigar Aficionado has rated this size three times, calling it medium-full each time. Its October 2021 panel gave it 90 points for a peppery start that settled into an oaky, rum-barrel character. The August 2023 review scored it 88, citing leather, dark toast and spice with a floral, faintly mineral finish. In August 2026 it earned 89 for clean cherry, almond and marzipan, though some tasters noticed a slight metallic edge. halfwheel’s undated review found maple-like sweetness, cedar, cinnamon and milk chocolate.

Arturo Fuente presents Casa Cuba as the final blend Carlos Fuente Sr. created, drawing on methods his father Arturo passed down. According to halfwheel, four sizes opened the line at the 2013 IPCPR show, and the Doble Dos reached shops in November 2018, bringing the line to six releases.
