The Viaje Wilshire and La Jolla is a pressed 6 x 54 toro made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco and rolled at Fábrica de Tabacos RaÃces Cubanas in Honduras. Cigar Coop reported it as the third chapter of Viaje’s Craft Series and the first one with a pressed shape.
What It Tastes Like
Our search turned up no Cigar Aficionado score, so halfwheel’s 81-point review of the November 2019 release is the main guide. Leather and bitter espresso led early, with black pepper through the nose. A pronounced cinnamon note took over the middle third alongside peanuts, oak and some honey, then faded as leather and espresso returned. Strength started well under medium, neared it by the end of the second third, then climbed clearly past it without pushing much beyond medium-full.

RaÃces Cubanas in DanlÃ, Honduras rolled it from Nicaraguan tobacco only. The two Craft Series cigars before it came from TABSA in Nicaragua.
