Construction & Origin

This 6 x 52 toro is finished in an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper over a Dominican binder, with filler tobaccos drawn from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. It’s part of Viaje’s White Label Project — founder Andre Farkas’s experimental series for test blends and small-batch ideas the company might never otherwise release. Mofongo is one of only two Viaje cigars ever produced at TABACALERA LA iSLA in the Dominican Republic, a factory also known for producing cigars for brands like Warped, Cabal, and Matilde.

Flavor Profile

A distinctive mineral saltiness shows up early on the cold draw, joined by bitter espresso and black pepper. As the smoke develops, peanuts and cedar take the lead, layered with toasted bread, earth, dry straw, leather, and a subtle vegetal note that comes and goes. Body sits just above medium, staying well-balanced throughout a smoke that typically runs 1 to 1.5 hours.
