The Viaje White Label Project “Blunderbuss” is a rare White Label Project release from Viaje, handcrafted in Nicaragua in a Toro Gordo vitola with a Corojo 99 wrapper and a traditional cap. Medium-full in strength, expect blunderbuss fires off spice, earth and subtle sweetness with extra maturity from its extended aging.

Description
The Viaje White Label Project Blunderbuss sat quietly aging for over a year before Viaje finally found room to release it — a genuine “we didn’t forget about this one” story from founder Andre Farkas’s experimental line.
Construction & Origin
This 6 x 56 toro is finished in a Corojo ’99 wrapper, part of Viaje’s White Label Project — a series specifically designed to test market future blends, shapes, and ideas before deciding whether they earn a full, permanent release. Blunderbuss was rolled well over a year before it actually shipped, released alongside another aged WLP blend, Dark Matter, once space finally opened in Viaje’s release calendar. Production was capped at just 200 boxes.
Flavor Profile
Reviewers note a rich, dessert-leaning profile of cream, cocoa, oak, espresso, mild pepper, and baking spices — full-bodied and well-rounded, with the extra rest time showing in a smoother, more integrated smoke than a freshly-rolled release typically delivers.
Why It’s Sought After
White Label Project releases are true test batches — Viaje uses real customer feedback from these small runs to decide what earns a full future release, meaning WLP cigars are often the first taste anyone gets of a blend before it potentially becomes something bigger. With only 200 boxes produced and most retailers selling through their allocation within days, Blunderbuss is a genuine one-time opportunity to try Viaje’s process in action.
