Description
The Rocky Patel Emerald Gordo is a chunky 6 x 60 box-pressed cigar with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a double binder of Mexican and Nicaraguan leaf, and mostly Nicaraguan filler with a Honduran leaf. Rocky Patel calls this size the Sixty.
What It Tastes Like
In the March 25, 2025 issue of Cigar Insider, as listed on Cigar Aficionado’s ratings page, the Emerald Sixty scored 91 points and was rated medium-full. They found toast and oak, then dried fruit, cocoa, coffee bean and nuts, closing on leather. Rocky Patel, by contrast, describes the blend as sweet and sitting at the low end of medium.
