Description
The Crowned Heads Las Calaveras 2024 LC52 pairs a Nicaraguan habano wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler in a 5 x 52 robusto frame. My Father Cigars S.A. makes this 2024 blend at its Estelà factory, and halfwheel dates the release to July 11, 2024.
What It Tastes Like
In halfwheel’s three-cigar review, strength stayed medium-full nearly throughout. Bread crust and melon came first, then nuts moved to the front within the first inch, joined by cream and a hint of campfire; espresso, salt and white pepper surfaced mid-cigar, and toast and caramel grew late. One sample tunneled and another drew too openly, while the reviewer called the third well built. Co-founder Jon Huber has said this blend brought back memories of the 2015 edition, a blend he ranks among the line’s best.

- Year-to-year comparers lining up three editions of the 5 x 52: 2022, 2024 and 2025.
- Short-format smokers who still want medium-full strength.
