The Viaje Fifteen Plus Two and a Half Anniversary Gold pairs a Criollo wrapper with an all-Nicaraguan blend in a 6 x 54 box press, rolled by Aganorsa Leaf in EstelÃ. It was set to begin shipping on February 17, 2025, as one of three color-coded blends marking Viaje’s 17½ years, next to the Silver and Red.
What It Tastes Like
We found no Cigar Aficionado or halfwheel score for the Gold. Cigar Sense published an analysis on June 27, 2025, rating its nicotine as medium and pointing to a savory palate; its full tasting notes sit behind a member login. Viaje told Cigar Aficionado in February 2025 that it aimed for a full-bodied profile across the trio, while Andre Farkas said little about how the individual blends differ. Its closest scored relative, the Criollo-wrapped Silver, earned 95 points (medium-full) in Cigar Aficionado’s January 2026 issue and No. 17 on its Top 25 of 2025; that score is the Silver’s, not the Gold’s.
