Construction & Origin

Rather than the typical 5, 10, or 15-year celebrations most cigar companies mark, Farkas has made a habit of celebrating “half” anniversaries instead — this release follows an earlier 12½-year edition with the same offbeat spirit. The Anniversary Red is a Nicaraguan puro built entirely from Aganorsa Leaf-grown tobacco, finished in a Corojo ’99 wrapper (its Silver and Gold sibling blends use a Criollo ’98 wrapper instead). Every cigar is a 6 x 54 box-pressed Toro, hand-rolled at Aganorsa’s own factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, and released in limited 25-count boxes.
