The Viaje Fifteen Plus Two and a Half Anniversary Red is the Corojo-wrapped member of Viaje’s anniversary series, a Nicaraguan puro pressed into a 6 x 54 toro. Cigar Aficionado says Aganorsa Leaf grows its tobacco and rolls it in EstelÃ, and of the three colors Viaje announced in February 2025, only the Red uses Corojo rather than Criollo.
What It Tastes Like
In its April 8, 2025 issue, Cigar Insider (a Cigar Aficionado newsletter) gave the Red 90 points at medium strength. The panel found a malty start with a sour, herbal edge, then some sweetness and a trace of licorice, plus an even draw and burn under an oily, milk-chocolate wrapper. Viaje described the series as full-bodied when it was announced.

About the Fifteen Plus Two and a Half Anniversary
Viaje, owned by Andre Farkas, dates to 2007, and this series, scheduled to begin shipping on February 17, 2025, celebrated 17 1/2 years of the brand. Viaje had used similar fractional naming in 2019 for its 12 1/2-year mark. halfwheel later noted retailers announcing a black-ribboned fourth cigar with an undisclosed blend.
