Description
The Diamond Crown Robusto No. 5 Maduro is a 4 1/2 x 54 robusto with a double-fermented Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, a Dominican binder and a five-leaf filler. J.C. Newman sources that filler from Caribbean and Central American countries, while Neptune Cigar lists it as Dominican. It is the shortest size in the Diamond Crown Maduro lineup, produced for J.C. Newman at Tabacalera A. Fuente.

About the Diamond Crown Maduro
J.C. Newman says it revived the Diamond Crown name in 1995 to mark the company’s 100th year, though Cigar Coop dates the launch to 1996. The Maduro keeps the Classic blend but trades its five-year-aged Connecticut Shade wrapper for broadleaf.
Pairing and Storage
As a medium cigar, it suits the bourbon, Rioja and espresso picks in our cigar pairing guide.
