Description
The Arturo Fuente Opus X ReXilient Churchill is a 7 x 48 cigar from the Fuente Fuente OpusX ReXilient (as Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Coop style it), a 2026 release Arturo Fuente created to mark 25 years since the September 11, 2001 attacks. Fuente has not named its wrapper, binder or filler, though Cigar Aficionado confirms it is rolled at the family’s Dominican factory.
What It Tastes Like
As of October 2026, we found no critic’s review or score for this Churchill, and the leaf recipe is still private. Cigar Aficionado’s August 2026 report says only that the tobaccos were chosen for this release alone; we will add a verdict here once one appears instead of inventing tasting notes.
Who It’s For

About the OpusX ReXilient
Cigar Coop reports it debuted at the 2026 Premium Cigar Association show and began shipping to retailers in late August 2026. Carlito Fuente tied the project to 9/11 itself, when he had to evacuate from a Philadelphia meeting across from City Hall, and the box’s top sheet lists badge numbers of fallen fire, police and Port Authority responders.

Arturo Fuente Opus X ReXilient Churchill FAQ
What does the Arturo Fuente Opus X ReXilient Churchill commemorate?
The 25th anniversary of 9/11. Cigar Aficionado reports that part of the proceeds go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which aids fallen responders’ families, survivors and injured veterans.
What size is the ReXilient Churchill?
7 x 48, per Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Coop. The release’s other vitola is a 6 1/4 x 54 toro.
Is the Churchill the flag-wrapped ReXilient?
No. Cigar Coop says the flag wrap is on the toros; the Churchill wears the stars-and-stripes band found on every ReXilient.
What tobacco is in the ReXilient, and how strong is it?
Fuente hasn’t said. Both Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Coop call the blend undisclosed, so wrapper or strength labels elsewhere lack the maker’s confirmation.
