Construction & Origin

The Hemingway Signature was the very first cigar in the line when it debuted in 1983, traditionally finished in a Cameroon wrapper. This Maduro version swaps that leaf for a perfectly-cured Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over vintage Dominican binder and filler tobaccos, hand-rolled at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. At 6 x 47, it keeps the classic Signature’s traditional Cuban perfecto shape with a tapered foot — a demanding style only the most experienced torcedores are trusted to roll, each limited to just 75 cigars a day. Every batch rests in cedar-lined aging rooms at Chateau de la Fuente for six months before release, typically timed for the holiday season.
