Description

The Arturo Fuente Black Pink Happy Ending is a 5 1/2 x 53 figurado from Arturo Fuente’s Black Pink, a darker companion to the Rare Pink Vintage 1960’s series. Cigar Aficionado reports a Habano-seed cover leaf raised in Connecticut with only Dominican tobacco beneath it, rolled at the Fuente family’s Dominican factory.

What It Tastes Like

No published tasting covers this dark-wrapped Happy Ending yet, so we will not guess at flavors. Halfwheel frames the Black Pink as a deeper-toned relative of the Rare Pink, while Cigar Aficionado says the blend shares nothing with the original beyond its double-tapered shape.

Who It’s For

  • Owners of the pink-boxed Happy Ending wanting to try the same vitola dressed in darker leaf.
  • Mid-length figurado fans, as it sits between the Work of Art and the Signature in length.
  • Connecticut-wrapper fans curious about that leaf over Dominican tobacco.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Produced in-house by the Fuente family, Cigar Aficionado reports
  • A vitola Cigar Coop and Cigar Aficionado describe as exclusive to the Rare Pink family, not borrowed from the Hemingway line
  • Halfwheel, Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Coop agree on its dimensions

Cons

  • No independent review or score that we could find yet
  • Unlike the Rare Pink, its sales are not tied to breast cancer research, per Cigar Aficionado

About the Black Pink Line

Cigar Coop reports that Fuente showed only the packaging at PCA 2024 and brought the cigars themselves to PCA 2025. Cigar Aficionado’s March 26, 2026 report says shipments had begun, and it and halfwheel list the same four sizes.

Arturo Fuente Black Pink Happy Ending FAQ

How big is the Black Pink Happy Ending?

Halfwheel, Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Coop all list it at 5 1/2 inches by 53 ring. Halfwheel adds that it ships in boxes of ten.

How does it differ from the Rare Pink Happy Ending?

The shape matches, but Cigar Aficionado’s March 26, 2026 report calls it an entirely separate blend. The original wears Ecuadorian leaf (per Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Coop); this one uses Connecticut-grown Habano seed.

Does the Black Pink support breast cancer research?

Cigar Aficionado says no: the pink-boxed Rare Pink keeps that charitable tie, but money from Black Pink is not set aside for it.

Where is the Happy Ending made?

Cigar Aficionado credits the Fuente family’s Dominican operation, Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia, with producing every Black Pink size.
