About The Edge Habano

Rocky Patel The Edge Habano Torpedo FAQ
Is the Rocky Patel The Edge Habano Torpedo a strong cigar?
Cigar Aficionado listed it as full in January 2016, as do the JR Cigar and Cigars International listings. Cigar Coop put its strength between medium and full in 2012, and Neptune Cigar’s listing calls it medium-bodied.
Where is the wrapper grown?
Sources disagree. Cigar Aficionado, Cigar Coop, JR Cigar and Cigars International list a Nicaraguan Habano leaf, while Rocky Patel’s current page says its Habano seed wrapper is grown in Ecuador.
Is this the same cigar as the Nicaraguan Edge?
It grew out of that project. Per Cigar Coop, Nicaraguan Edge was the working name in a May 2012 Cigar Insider report before the blend was officially named The Edge Habano. Our listing calls it the Nicaraguan Edition.
What other sizes does The Edge Habano come in?
Rocky Patel also lists a straight 6 x 52 Toro and a thicker 6 x 60 Battalion.
