Description

What It Tastes Like

halfwheel reviewed a 2012 prerelease sample of this toro and found leather throughout with milk chocolate, coffee and toast early, then cedar, earth and light pepper, moving from mild-medium to medium. Cigar Coop (November 2012) called the Toro the milder size, at medium strength. The Torpedo, a different shape, scored 94 and placed seventh in Cigar Aficionado’s 2015 Top 25, labelled full (January 2016 issue).

Who It’s For

  • Nicaragua fans who want the one Edge blend not made in Honduras.
  • Newer smokers, since Cigar Coop steered novices toward the Toro rather than the Torpedo.
  • Side-by-side tasters comparing Edge toros by wrapper.
