The Stolen Throne Crook of the Crown Robusto is a genuine debut release — the first cigar ever made by Stolen Throne, a Virginia-based boutique brand founded in 2019 by JR Cannon and Lee Marsh.

Construction & Origin

This 5 x 50 robusto is finished in a 10-year-aged Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over an Indonesian binder, with Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, produced at Aromas de Jalapa. The blend was developed in close collaboration with Texas-based master blender Noel Rojas — co-founder Lee Marsh has credited Rojas directly, saying he “let us loose and control the blending process,” a partnership so effective the founders say they can’t imagine working with anyone else. As Stolen Throne’s flagship, inaugural release, it marked the company’s very first entry into the cigar world.

Flavor Profile

Full-bodied and medium-plus in strength, this cigar delivers bold notes of espresso, black pepper, and cream, with the extra-aged wrapper contributing real sweetness and earthiness alongside leather, caramel, almond, and cocoa. Stogie Press rated it 92 points, describing a “palate-pleasing array of notes wrapped around a core of sweet dark chocolate and pepper,” with thick, creamy smoke throughout.
