Announced at the 2019 trade show and shipped to retailers that November, this 7 x 52 Churchill is finished in an Ecuadorian-grown Corojo wrapper — the same varietal used on La Flor Dominicana’s Andalusian Bull, which captured Cigar Aficionado’s 2016 Cigar of the Year. Inside sits an all-Dominican binder and filler blend, hand-rolled at Tabacalera La Flor S.A. in Tamboril, Dominican Republic. It’s the second milestone release from the Gomez family, following the 20th-anniversary 1994 line released in 2014.
