The La Flor Dominicana Double Claro No. 50 is a 5 x 50 robusto in a green Ecuadorian candela wrapper, with a Nicaraguan binder and Dominican filler; halfwheel and Cigar Coop trace that filler to the company’s La Canela farm. “Double claro” is another name for candela, leaf that Cigar Aficionado’s glossary says is cured with heat before it leaves the curing barn, locking in its chlorophyll.
