The Fuente Fuente Opus X El Trece Magistral 13 is a limited-edition Dominican puro from the Forbidden X series — one of the rarest, most collectible expressions in the entire Opus X lineup.
Construction & Origin
This is a true Dominican puro: wrapper, binder, and filler are all sourced from the Fuente family’s Chateau de la Fuente estate, using aged tobacco from their private reserves. The Magistral 13 is a large figurado vitola measuring 6 7/8″ x 56, packaged 26 cigars to the box. Reportedly produced in 2015, though the exact age of the underlying tobacco remains unconfirmed.
Flavor Profile
Full-bodied and notably stronger than most standard Opus X blends, yet balanced. Expect layers of dark spice, toasted oak, and leather, rounded out by subtle sweetness and earthy undertones that shift throughout the smoke.
