Description

The Arturo Fuente Casa Fuente Double Robusto is a 5 3/4″ x 52 Dominican cigar wrapped in Cameroon leaf, delivering a full-bodied, rich, and complex profile built around chocolate, nuts, and spice. The Casa Fuente line began as an exclusive for the Casa Fuente Lounge in Las Vegas before expanding to select retailers nationwide, and the Double Robusto vitola gives fans of the blend a thicker, fuller-gauge option within the line.

About the Arturo Fuente Casa Fuente Double Robusto

Casa Fuente was originally created for the Casa Fuente Lounge, the Fuente family’s cigar bar and retail space in Las Vegas, before the line was extended to select retailers nationwide. The Double Robusto is built on a Cameroon wrapper over Dominican binder and filler tobaccos, a combination the Fuente family has used across the Casa Fuente line to produce a fuller-bodied smoke than many of its Connecticut-wrapped offerings. At 5 3/4″ x 52, this vitola is thicker than the standard Casa Fuente Robusto, giving it a longer, more gradual burn.

Flavor & Smoking Profile

The Casa Fuente Double Robusto delivers a full-strength smoke with a rich, complex profile centered on chocolate, nuts, and spice. The Cameroon wrapper contributes a distinct, slightly sweet edge that plays against the full-bodied Dominican filler, giving the blend more depth than a typical medium-strength cigar. The thicker 52 ring gauge allows the flavors to unfold steadily from light to finish.

What Makes the Casa Fuente Double Robusto Different

Within the Casa Fuente line, the Double Robusto stands apart for its thicker 52 ring gauge, a step up from the standard 50-gauge Casa Fuente Robusto and a different shape profile than the longer Doble Corona and Churchill vitolas in the family. That extra girth gives the same Cameroon-wrapped, full-strength blend a slower burn and a slightly different draw than its siblings, appealing to smokers who prefer a thicker cigar without moving to a significantly longer format.

Who Is This Cigar Best Suited For

The Casa Fuente Double Robusto suits experienced smokers who enjoy full-bodied, Cameroon-wrapped cigars with real depth of flavor. Its higher strength and rich chocolate-nut-spice profile make it a better fit for those already comfortable with fuller blends than for newcomers, while the thicker ring gauge appeals to anyone who prefers a substantial smoke in hand.
