Description
Vicente Blends Gold Standard V Toro Masterpiece is a 5 7/8 x 56 toro built only from Dominican tobacco: a Dominican Yamasá wrapper over Dominican binder and filler. Vicente Blends calls the Gold Standard V its flagship.
What It Tastes Like
The maker lists butter as the core flavor, with macadamia, coffee and nutmeg behind it, at medium strength. The one independent review we found covers a different vitola: Developing Palates smoked the 5 1/2 x 54 Robusto Extra in a team review dated March 28, 2025. One taster noted cedar, earth, a creamy texture, leather and black pepper at just under medium strength; the other found sweet tobacco, bread, hay and mild spice with tannic, drying wood showing on the finish in the last third. Their scores apply to that smaller size, so we omit them.
