Description
The Viaje Private Keep Ghost comes as a 6 x 52 toro from Viaje’s Private Keep series, and the company has not disclosed its wrapper, binder or filler. Ghost is the sixth ribbon in a series built from blends Andre Farkas developed but had kept off the market.
What It Tastes Like
As of October 2026 we could not find a scored review of the Ghost from halfwheel, Cigar Coop or Cigar Aficionado, so we won’t guess at flavor. Retailer Atlantic Cigar describes it as medium-full with a colorado-shade wrapper. Earlier Private Keep ribbons each used a different blend, so their reviews say little about how Ghost smokes.
Who It’s For
- Viaje regulars adding the 2026 Private Keep alongside earlier ribbons.
- Blind-tasting fans who like judging a toro with no blend sheet to lean on.
- Medium-full smokers open to an unreviewed blend.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Its own blend, marked by its own ribbon color, per Viaje’s caption quoted by halfwheel
- Shares the 6 x 52 toro size used by most Private Keep editions, per halfwheel’s release list
Cons
- No published wrapper, binder or filler
- No outlet score yet to guide expectations
About the Ghost Release
halfwheel reported that Viaje scheduled Ghost to ship on March 30, 2026, together with Chef’s Cut, a new Viaje line. Viaje’s announcement, as quoted by halfwheel, said the company was picking a handful of its top blends to sell exclusively as Private Keep editions. Like every edition before it, Ghost comes in one vitola and ships without a band.
