Perla del Mar is Spanish for ?Pearl of the sea.? These cigars trace back to 1905 when four Cuban brothers began rolling cigars. They called their cigars ?Perla del Mar? as a reference to the ocean surrounding their island. Today, Perla del Mar cigars are hand rolled by JC Newman and pay tribute to the brand?s history. The Corojo is wrapped in a corojo leaf with Nicaraguan binder and filler leaves. A medium-full bodied smoke, it offers spice but is not overpowering.
