Description
The Padrón Series 4000 Natural is a mellow, full-size Toro in Padrón’s Thousand Series — the affordable, everyday line built on the same sun-grown Nicaraguan tobacco that made the brand’s name.
Construction & Origin
This 6 1/2 x 54 Toro is a Nicaraguan puro, built with a Nicaraguan Natural wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, hand-rolled at Tabacos Cubanica S.A. in Estelí. Like the rest of the Thousand Series, it uses sun-grown tobaccos aged a minimum of 2.5 years — a shorter cycle than Padrón’s premium anniversary lines, but built with the same hands-on factory craftsmanship.
Flavor Profile
Medium-bodied, this cigar delivers cedar, cream, roasted nuts, and a mild white pepper, with a smooth, easygoing draw that suits the larger ring gauge. It’s a relaxed, slow-burning size for smokers who want more time with a milder Padrón profile.
Why It’s Sought After
The Thousand Series helped popularize bolder, full-strength Nicaraguan cigars during the 1990s, at a time when milder Dominican-style blends still dominated the market — a real piece of the foundation behind Padrón’s current reputation. The 4000 Natural remains a generously sized, budget-friendly way to enjoy genuine Padrón construction.
