Debuting at the 2016 IPCPR trade show, this 5½ x 52 robusto extra commemorates the 90th birthday of company founder José Orlando Padrón. Wrapper, binder, and filler are all 100% Nicaraguan, aged five years before rolling, hand-produced at Tabacos Cubanica S.A. The tube itself is genuinely distinctive — a cream-colored aluminum tube with Padrón’s signature rendered in gold and a small hammer silhouette (a nod to his early days as a carpenter), with the cigar shipped in cellophane inside, and packaged in 10-count boxes featuring an etching of José O. Padrón on the lid.
