Description
The Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Edición Limitada is a 5 1/2 x 54 perfecto with an Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, matching the standard Serie V recipe, according to halfwheel. Cigar Aficionado likened its rounded head and steeply tapered foot to a club.
What It Tastes Like
Cigar Aficionado’s Cigar Insider newsletter scored it 91 points on February 22, 2022, and called it medium-full. Tasters found a bold, coffee-led smoke with early leather, then caramel, chocolate and wood, ending like espresso. Cigar Coop’s William Cooper gave it 90 in October 2022, noting cocoa, earth, cedar, nuts and white pepper. halfwheel was cooler at 86, finding leather, almonds, cocoa nibs and maple, with strength only reaching medium late.

- Serie V regulars who want the familiar blend in a tapered-foot shape.
