Johnson and the Garcias have enjoyed a long and fruitful partnership, and ?La Union? Black is a special collaboration between them. Two distinct blends, one by Johnson and one by the Garcias, are handmade in a Double Corona called the Prominente Especial. Johnson?s blend is finished in a Shade Grown Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper with a closed foot while the Garcias? cigar is blended with an Ecuador Habano wrapper and an open foot. Inside each blend is a bold and complex interior of premium Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos, including the rare Pelo d?Oro varietal.

La Union Black By My Father 2023 is a 7 1/4″ x 50 Double Corona (“Prominente Especial”) collaboration between the Garcia family of My Father Cigars and Pete Johnson of Tatuaje. Each box includes two distinct blends: one by Johnson finished in a Shade Grown Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper with a closed foot, and one by the Garcias finished in an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with an open foot.
