If you’re already into Liga Privada, you probably know the H99 line has a bit of a cult following — and the Feral Flying Pig version takes that reputation and runs with it.
What makes H99 stand out from the rest of the Liga Privada lineup is the wrapper: a Connecticut-grown hybrid Corojo-seed leaf, which gives it a genuinely different character than Drew Estate’s usual darker, oilier wrappers. Underneath, it’s built with a Mexican San Andrés binder and rich filler tobaccos from both Honduras and Nicaragua. The Feral Flying Pig itself is a fat figurado shape, hand-rolled only by Drew Estate’s most experienced torcedores at their Nicaragua factory, and produced in genuinely limited numbers — this isn’t a size you’ll always find in stock.
As for the smoke, expect a real meaty, savory profile rather than the sweeter, fruitier notes some cigars lean on — think sweet tobacco, warm spice, and earth, all working together in a way that feels substantial without tipping into harsh.
Given how limited the Feral Flying Pig format already is on top of H99 being a smaller-production line to begin with, this is one worth grabbing when you actually see it in stock rather than waiting.
