The Illusione OneOff Black & Tan Robusto is a 5 x 52 robusto rolled by Aganorsa in EstelÃ, Nicaragua, and the first size of the Black & Tan spinoff within Dion Giolito’s OneOff brand. Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Coop list its wrapper, binder and filler as Nicaraguan.
What It Tastes Like
Cigar Aficionado gave it 92 points, ranked it No. 22 among its Top 25 Cigars of 2024 and called it medium-full, picking out shortbread, caramel, marzipan, pecan and anise. halfwheel’s 2024 samples opened on espresso and black pepper before charred meat and creamy cedar took over, rising to medium-full; its 2026 redux found cocoa nib and roasted peanut in place of that meatiness. Cigar Coop was cooler in July 2025, scoring 87 at medium strength as its early bread and chocolate sweetness faded.

About the OneOff Black & Tan
Cigar Coop traces OneOff to a Milan tobacconist in 2001 and says Giolito revived it after acquiring the name in 2017. Black & Tan, its second extension after the +53, launched as this robusto at the 2024 PCA show, and a 6 x 52 toro followed in 2025.
