About Cohiba Connecticut

General Cigar launched the Connecticut line within its Dominican Cohiba portfolio in March 2019. It’s made at General Cigar Dominicana and built around an Ecuadorian-grown, Connecticut-seed shade wrapper — a lighter leaf than the darker wrappers used on Cohiba’s Red Dot and Black lines. The blend also uses a Mexican San Andrés binder and a filler mix of Brazilian Mata Fina, Dominican Olor and Piloto Cubano, and Nicaraguan Jalapa tobacco.

Mild to medium in body, per General Cigar’s own positioning, with the brand emphasizing sweetness and spice.
