Description
The Cavalier Genève US Regional Exclusive Robusto is a 5 x 50 robusto with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Connecticut-seed binder grown in Honduras, and filler from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua and the United States. Cavalier Genève has it made at Fábrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. in Danlí, Honduras.
What It Tastes Like
No published review covers the Robusto, so these notes come from other sizes. Cigar Coop scored the 6 x 54 Toro 89 points in January 2025, finding cocoa, nuts, citrus and black pepper, with citrus taking the lead as the nut faded and a mineral edge underneath. Halfwheel’s Petit Robusto review moved from toast and bittersweet chocolate to meaty, grainy flavors, then a drier, earthy and woody final third with more toast on the finish.
Who It’s For
- San Andrés fans curious about that wrapper over a Honduran Connecticut-seed binder.
- Smokers short on time who prefer this blend in 5 x 50 over the Double Corona.
- Fans of presentation, as many carry an edible gold diamond.

About the US Regional Exclusive
Cigar Coop traces this blend to the Black Series, a San Andrés-wrapped cigar Cavalier announced in 2016 that was later reserved for American smokers. In December 2022 it was reblended and repackaged under the US Regional Exclusive name.
