The A.J. Fernandez Last Call Habano Flaquitas is a slim 6 x 46 cigar in which a reddish Ecuadorian Habano Rosado leaf wraps Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Blind Man’s Puff names Tabacalera Fernandez in Estelà as the factory that rolls the Last Call line.
What It Tastes Like
The Habano Flaquitas itself has not drawn an independent review that we could locate. The nearest is Blind Man’s Puff’s blind tasting of the original 4 1/2 x 48 Geniales, published July 20, 2016, which scored that size 91 and called its strength medium. Tasters picked out leather, oak and red pepper at first, then milk chocolate, nuts, a little lemon and a charred-meat edge, ending creamy and woody with baking-spice sweetness. The Flaquitas stretches that recipe longer and thinner, so take those notes as a rough guide.

About the Last Call Line
A.J. Fernandez says Last Call started as a small-run blend given to guests touring his farms and factories. Blind Man’s Puff reports the Habano version shipped to shops in April 2016 as a lone Geniales, and that later in 2016 the company announced added sizes for both the Habano and the Maduro versions, the Flaquitas among them.
