For more than a decade, a small crow quietly sat tucked into the packaging of Viaje’s annual Halloween release, Full Moon — never the star, always in the background. In 2024, with Full Moon taking a year off, that crow finally stepped into the spotlight with a release entirely its own.

Construction & Origin

The Crow is a 100% Nicaraguan puro, made at Agricola Ganadera Norteña S.A. (Aganorsa Leaf’s factory) in Nicaragua, using a dark Corojo ’99 wrapper leaf over Nicaraguan binder and filler. It comes in a single size — 5½” x 50 Robusto — packaged in 15-count boxes, following the same genuinely limited small-batch approach Viaje applies to nearly everything it releases. Founder Andre Farkas has described the blend as full-bodied and completely different from any of Viaje’s previous seasonal releases, with more than a little Edgar Allan Poe-style atmosphere baked into the whole concept.
