Description
The Toscano Master Aged Serie 2 measures 6 1/3 x 40 in the conical Toscano shape, pairing a Tennessee-grown Kentucky wrapper, fire-cured for 30 days, with Kentucky filler from Italy and the U.S. and no binder. Manifatture Sigaro Toscano matures each finished cigar for no less than 360 days, and an affinatore checks humidity and temperature daily from the fifth day on.
What It Tastes Like
In a December 26, 2022 review, Cigar Coop scored the Master Aged 2 at 86 and called its strength and body medium. William Cooper tasted coffee and campfire-style wood swapping places early, with pepper, cedar and faint barbecue sweetness, before pepper and wood dominated the last third. Toscano’s 2022 launch description cited toasted notes (Cigar Press) plus scented wood and dried fruit (halfwheel).

About the Master Aged Collection
Toscano unveiled Master Aged for American shops in June 2022, with three blends sharing one 6 1/3 x 40 format. halfwheel reports that the later Serie 5, released around the 2025 PCA show, measures 5 x 50.

Sources differ. Toscano’s launch copy, as reported by Cigar Coop, describes an intense, full-bodied blend, and our listing says full, whereas Cigar Coop’s December 2022 review judged it medium.
How big is the Serie 2?
halfwheel and Neptune Cigar list 6 1/3 x 40, and Cigar Coop’s launch report gives 6.3 x 40; Cigar Coop’s review lists a 43 ring.
Should it go in a humidor?
Yes. halfwheel and Cigar Coop both say the Master Aged blends are meant to be humidified, which sets them apart from most Toscanos.
Do I need to cut it?
Cigar Coop says it comes pre-cut, and Toscanos can be smoked whole or halved, though the reviewer still trimmed it lightly.
