The Plasencia Cosecha 149 La Vega is a 5 x 52 robusto made entirely from Honduran tobacco, with a wrapper from San AgustÃn in Olancho, a Jamastrán Valley binder, and filler from Jamastrán, Olancho and Talanga. It is one of the original sizes of the Cosecha 149 line, which reached stores in November 2021.
What It Tastes Like
Cigar Aficionado’s ratings database shows two 90-point scores for the La Vega: one in Cigar Insider on January 11, 2022, and one in the April 2022 issue of Cigar Aficionado, both rating it medium-full. Tasters found black pepper and cedar at the start, then a calmer middle of earth and coffee with some baking spice, ending on a faintly ashy note. They found the draw easy and the burn even.
