The Pio 1996 Series “My First Love” is a line of cigars by PIO Cigar Company founder and master blender Alberto J. Medina. This limited-edition, box-pressed cigar is a recreation of the very first blend Medina ever created in 1996. That first cigar was made in a small factory in Little Havana, Miami, but the modern version is handmade in Nicaragua. It features an Ecuadorian Rosado Natural wrapper, a filler blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos, and an undisclosed binder. Creamy and smooth, it has notes of coffee, cedar and nuttiness.
