Description

The Patina y Viso ReVerdigris Robusto is a 5 x 52 robusto pairing an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed binder with Nicaraguan filler. It is the second outing of a joint blend from Patina Cigars founder Mo Maali and Viso Horny founder Tyler Jeffery, rolled at Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA), per Cigar Coop and Cigar Dojo.

What It Tastes Like

Our research found no review of the ReVerdigris itself; halfwheel’s look at the 2025 Verdigris, made to the same recipe, is the closest guide. Its reviewer picked up earth and black pepper early, then cocoa-like sweetness and cream, with campfire smoke and wood through the middle and toast at the close. halfwheel rated the body medium-plus and the strength mild until a late rise to medium-minus.

Who It’s For

  • Fans of the 2025 Verdigris who want to revisit that blend in its returning form.
  • Collectors of boutique collaborations that pair two brand owners.
  • Anyone who likes body without heavy strength, given halfwheel’s read of a flavorful but gentle smoke.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Same blend and dimensions as the first release, per both 2026 announcements
  • Draw, burn and smoke output were all solid in halfwheel’s samples of the original

Cons

  • We found no independent review of this second release
  • A slow burner: halfwheel’s samples of the original averaged roughly two and a half hours

About the Verdigris Line

The project began in 2025 as the first joint cigar between Patina and Viso Horny, per Cigar Coop, which explains verdigris as the blue-green crust that copper and brass take on as they oxidize. The word itself echoes the Patina name.

Patina y Viso ReVerdigris Robusto FAQ

What blend is in the Patina y Viso ReVerdigris Robusto?

Cigar Coop and Cigar Dojo both describe an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed binder, with Nicaraguan tobacco making up the filler.

Is ReVerdigris different from the 2025 Verdigris?

Not in the tobacco. According to the October 2026 announcements, it reuses the first release’s blend and 5 x 52 format; what changed is the name and, per Cigar Dojo, the label artwork.

Where is it made?

The factory is Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA), and halfwheel says Maali and Jeffery built the blend together while visiting it.

How long does it take to smoke?

Samples of the original Verdigris averaged about two and a half hours in halfwheel’s review.
