Construction & Origin

Every Gaaja Maduro is hand-rolled at Tabacos de Costa Rica in Costa Rica. Where the original Gaaja uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut/Cameroon desflorado wrapper, the Maduro swaps in a dark Brazilian Mata Fina leaf, layered over an Ecuadorian HVA Mejorado Seco binder and a filler blend drawn from the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru, and Paraguay — the same five-country combination that made the original Gaaja a standout.
