What It Tastes Like
Cigar Coop’s William Cooper scored the Toro Bravo 95 in his October 28, 2015 review. He found cocoa, earth and cedar early, mocha in the middle and coffee leading late, as strength rose from medium into medium-full. The Blind Man’s Puff panel scored it 91 on December 14, 2015, rating it medium; they noted white and then black pepper over a cocoa undertone at the start, coffee and nutty notes mid-way, and hay, leather and coffee bean near the end.

About the Matilde Oscura
Matilde showed the Oscura at the 2015 IPCPR trade show as a stronger successor to Renacer, the company’s debut line, according to halfwheel and Cigar Coop. José Seijas and his sons revived the Matilde name, which the company traces back to 1876.
