The Fuente Fuente OpusX PerfecXion 888 is a slender 6 7/8 x 44 cigar with a tapered head, made with Dominican wrapper, binder and filler. Fuente introduced it to the OpusX family at the 2018 IPCPR trade show.
What It Tastes Like
Cigar Aficionado gave the 888 92 points in its April 2019 issue and rated it medium-full. Tasters found an easy draw through the open, pointed head, with leather, cinnamon and cedar plus traces of nuts and spice. halfwheel liked it far less, scoring 83 in September 2018 for a waxy, chalky smoke over toast and pepper, then 81 in a 2023 redux.
