Measuring 7 5/8″ x 49, this is one of the largest, most stately vitolas in the entire Opus X core line. Every part of it — wrapper, binder, and filler — comes from Chateau de la Fuente, the estate Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. built in the early 1990s specifically to prove world-class cigar wrapper could be grown on Dominican soil, something the industry had long assumed was impossible. That effort produced the now-famous reddish Rosado wrapper leaf that defines the entire line. It’s handmade at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia, and true to Opus X tradition, availability is genuinely limited — many retailers cap purchases per customer.
