Description
The Black Label Trading Co. Super Deluxe Toro is a box-pressed 6 x 50 toro whose San Andrés maduro wrapper from Mexico covers an Ecuadorian habano binder and Nicaraguan filler. Cigar Aficionado and halfwheel list it as new for the 2025 Super Deluxe run.
What It Tastes Like
In a September 3, 2025 roundup of maduros, Cigar Aficionado’s Thomas Pappalardo scored this exact Toro 93 points. He found a mineral streak, cumin, a malt-tinged chocolate note and hardwood, with a honey-like sweetness carrying into the aftertaste. Stogie Press rated a different size, the 4 1/2 x 48 Petite Corona, 96 on March 12, 2025, calling it medium and moving from cocoa and faint star anise through caramel and nuts to dark chocolate.
Who It’s For
- Box-press smokers who want the squared shape in a six-inch length.
- San Andrés fans comparing this blend with Black Label’s Orthodox.
- Chocolate lovers, as both reviews above found it in this blend.
Pros and Cons
Pros
