Description
The Black Label Trading Co. Eletto Toro is the 6 x 50 member of the Eletto line, built from a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, an Ecuador habano binder and Nicaraguan filler. Cigar Journal and Stogie Press reported it leaving Fábrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua, for retailers in late June 2025.
What It Tastes Like
We found no published review of the Toro, so these notes cover the blend. In the June 26, 2025 launch news, creator James Brown described dark fruit giving way to spice and star anise. On August 14, 2025, Stogie Press scored the smaller Short Robusto (4 1/2 x 52) 94 at medium-plus strength, tracing pepper and fruit with molasses and cocoa on the retrohale, a faint anise touch and creamy stretches, and a darker, chocolate-heavy close.
Who It’s For
- Connecticut broadleaf smokers after a six-inch format.
- Eletto Short Robusto fans wanting more time with that leaf.
- Anise lovers, as Brown and Stogie Press both mention it.
