What It Tastes Like

Cigar Insider’s December 2, 2025 rating of the Gordo describes a dark, rugged wrapper over earth and burnt wood, with some mineral and coconut accents and a finish that recalls slate. Cigar Coop’s April 8, 2026 review of this size starts with cocoa and earth plus fruit, minerals and white pepper; earth leads throughout as the pepper builds.

  • Thick-ring fans who want a 58 gauge at just six inches.
  • Admirers of San Andrés leaf who enjoy its earthy character over Central American fillers.
  • Longtime New World smokers ready to compare this anniversary blend with the earlier New World blends.
