The Matilde Quadrata is the third release from Jose Seijas and the Tabacalera La Matilde factory. Using an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, there are also Dominican binder tobaccos and Dominican & Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. Medium to full strength with a full body, Oscura is well balanced with notes of sweet cocoa, toasted nuts and a surprise pepper in the background.
