The Davidoff Aniversario Double R is a 7 1/2 x 50 double corona with a pale Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper; the binder and filler are Dominican, and it is rolled by hand in the Dominican Republic. It belongs to Davidoff’s White Band Collection.
What It Tastes Like
Cigar Aficionado awarded the Double R 89 points in its June 2022 issue and graded it mild. Tasters noted a bready start and a brief mushroom-like mustiness before vanilla, pecan and graham cracker came through, though they reported an inconsistent burn and draw. Davidoff’s own flavor profile for this size lists cedar, cream, herbs, roasted nuts, walnut, citrus and fresh spice.
