The Tatuaje Monster Smash 2024 Sampler brings together Pete Johnson’s entire cult-favorite Monster Series in one collectible box — a genuine Halloween tradition for cigar enthusiasts since 2008.

Construction & Origin

This 14-cigar sampler includes every blend from the original Monster Series — Frank, Drac, Face, Wolf, Mummy, Jason, Jekyll, Hyde, Krueger, Michael, Chuck, Tiff, Bride, and Creature — each rolled in a brand-new, uniform 5¼ x 52 box-pressed robusto extra, a size never used before in the line’s history. Every cigar is hand-rolled at My Father Cigars S.A. in Nicaragua, and the whole set ships in a hinged, book-style box with seven cigars displayed on each side. Only 13,000 samplers were made.

Flavor Profile

Since each of the 14 cigars uses its own distinct blend, expect real variety across the box — from the peppery, chocolatey Frank to the creamy, nutty Wolf and the oaky, lemongrass-forward Hyde. That range is the entire point: a chance to taste Tatuaje’s full Monster lineup side by side rather than committing to a single blend.

Why It’s Sought After

The rarest cigar in the box is Tatuaje Creature, a tribute to the 1954 film Creature from the Black Lagoon that had only been released once before this sampler. The Monster Series itself has generated real fanfare every fall since its debut, and with production capped at 13,000 boxes worldwide, this is a genuinely limited seasonal release that doesn’t get reprinted once it sells through.
