The Viaje Circa ’45 No. 3 Nicaragua 2025 is a stout 5 1/2 x 58 toro with Nicaraguan binder and filler, made at Aganorsa Leaf in EstelÃ. It returned in Viaje’s May 2025 shipment, and according to halfwheel, Viaje said the blend is the same as the 2020 cigars.
What It Tastes Like
Cigar Aficionado has rated the No. 3 twice. Its December 2022 issue gave it 88 points at medium strength: black and white pepper first, then toast and cedar, closing earthy with a ginger-like edge. The October 2021 issue scored it 86 at medium-full, citing earth, coconut, tangy wood, leather and nuts, with an even burn but a finish that turned muddy. Both reviews predate the 2025 shipment.

About the Circa ’45 Line
Viaje, Andre Farkas’s company, debuted Circa ’45 as a European release in 2016, rolled at PDR Cigars in the Dominican Republic. A reworked, Aganorsa-made version reached U.S. shops in 2020, in packaging Cigar Aficionado likened to Cuba’s Punch. The ’45 points to 1845, when Partagás was founded in Havana.
